Tramp number 2 was slightly different from tramp 1in that we had a short tramp on day one and a long tramp on day 2, which was vice versa on tramp 1 and we would be camping on this tramp so we had to carry in tents rather than having a nice warm hut ready for us. We started at Lake Ohau and had a few hours tramping over the lowlands and then walking higher, through the trees to camp at Freehold Creek. After an evening playing games around the camp fire and a rather cold night (my poor feet were so cold) we headed out of the tree line and walked up........and up and up and then just a little further up. But all worth it for those views.
